# Terms of Service (Seleric Integration)

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Seleric Integration Shopify application (the “App”).
By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

## 1. Who may use the App

You must be authorized to act on behalf of the Shopify store (“Merchant”, “you”) that installs the App.

## 2. What the App does

The App helps Merchants connect Shopify customer events to PostHog using Shopify-native extensions (such as a Web Pixel),
and provides an Admin embedded UI to configure settings.

The App is installed only through the public Shopify App Store listing. You must not depend on a separate **custom app**
created under Shopify Admin → **Develop apps** to access the App’s functionality.

## 3. Accounts, authentication, and access

The App uses Shopify OAuth to request the access scopes shown during installation. You are responsible for maintaining
the confidentiality of your Shopify account and restricting access to your store and admin users.

## 4. Merchant responsibilities

You agree that you will:

- Provide accurate configuration values (for example, your PostHog API key/host).
- Configure and use the App in compliance with applicable laws and Shopify’s policies.
- Provide required disclosures and obtain any required consents from your customers (including for analytics cookies or
  identifiers) before enabling identified tracking, where applicable.

## 5. Data, privacy, and consent

Our privacy practices are described in `PRIVACY.md`. If you use the App to send events to PostHog, you control which
PostHog project receives the data, and you are responsible for your own PostHog configuration, retention, and access
controls.

## 6. Subprocessors

If we use service providers that process data on our behalf, we list them in `SUBPROCESSORS.md`.

## 7. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (in whole or part) at any time. We may update these Terms from time to
time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

## 8. Fees

The App is currently provided **free of charge**.

If we introduce paid plans in the future, pricing and billing terms will be presented to you in the App using Shopify’s
billing mechanisms.

## 9. Support

Support is described at `/support`. We may change support channels or hours over time.

## 10. Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

## 11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR
USE OF THE APP.

## 12. Termination

You may uninstall the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the App if we reasonably believe you have
violated these Terms or applicable policies.
